The Teachers College Distance Learning Project works with internationally acclaimed faculty to create powerful online courses, seminars and professional development programs for Teachers College, Columbia University. Our online learning efforts are based upon an integrated approach to research, design, implementation, and evaluation. We emphasize the creation and support of effective and engaging learner communities. These efforts form a natural extension of the longstanding commitment of Teachers College to educate the current and future leaders of education, health, and psychology.

A masters degree can be earned through a combination of on-campus and online learning. This Intensive Masters program combines course work at Teachers College during the summer with independent work and online courses during the school year. The program contains four separate concentrations: Multimedia Development; Telecommunications and Global Issues; Teaching and Learning with Technology; and Technology Leadership.
